When everyone else is enjoying the end of summer, I am thinking about Christmas cards. At last, the process is almost complete, and the proofs were looking good when my printer brought them to show me on Sunday.
There will be several thousand of them all beautifully folded, and put with envelopes into cello bags very soon..and a very sick husband, who's job it is to fold cards.
It is a desperate job getting enough daylight hours to paint now the clocks have gone back, and our evening walk with the dogs is ridiculously early, leaving us with so many hours of darkness to fill. I get into the habit of taking a leisurely bath before dinner, listening to the Archers, and catching up with family on the phone.
Next week, Matfen hall gift fair and Living North Christmas Fair. It will be a nightmare..
