I have just taken up eventing. It is possibly the most thrilling sport I have done. Dressage, showjumping cross country all in one day. I must emphasise that I am at the very lowest level of the sport, on the most genuine, reliable, willing horse possible. I never imagined myself doing this, and appreciate every moment. I did not, however, appreciate having to fix 8 studs to my horses shoes on saturday (on top of everything else) for the dressage phase, on grass, which can be very slippery, then REMOVE 8 studs to show jump on a fancy surface, then replace 8 studs to go cross country. So, I have got the hang of the studs.
New paintings are all away being framed and I cant wait to get them back hang them safely on the walls.
