I am grabbing a chance to bring the news up to date before my new PC is installed, and I am anticipating problems.
The Art Tour was over rather quickly this year, in its new 'June weekends' format. It had its pros and cons, the major con being that due to the spread of visitors over the whole weekend, we lost the 'buzz' of a busy sunday that I am used to.
I am doing the Crossing Borders open studio event this year for the first time. Crossing Borders is another artists network, open to artists on both sides of the border. It takes place on 3,4 5 September - come along!
Another trip up to the reindeer herd at Cairngorm 2 weeks ago. I feel I am getting to grips with what they are like. Lots of drawing, lots of photos, lots of watching, so watch this space.
Fun. I have been eventing my horse this year for the first time. Things were going SO well until last saturday when I fell of at Cumwhinton, forgot my dressage test, then had a run out (horse dodged a fence at the last minute) cross country. I came last in my section. Pride...
