Mary Ann Rogers Gallery, West Woodburn, Hexham NE48 2SE
We plan to be open every day from Wednessday 2nd December to Thursday 24th December.
11am-4pm, plus 10am-11am for vulnerable people who wish to avoid other people as much as possible.
A fabulous exhibtion of paintings which have been painted during this strange and oddly quiet year. New cattle paintings, huge Leghorn paintings, Guinea fowl, glorious and vibrant Oriental Poppies, richly evocative landscapes and many more.
Beautiful and quirky gifts including stunning handkerchiefs, face masks, new washbags and NEW!!!! Art materials - in partnership with AJ LUdlow colour, who create superb, pigment rich watercolour paint, also Saunders Waterford paper, from St Cuthbert's Mill and Pro Arte 'one stroke' brushes, made in Skipton.
Limited numbers in the gallery at any time, but you can relax in our covered seating/waiting area with a (disposable!!) mug of coffee or mulled wine plus a mince pie and enjoy the stunning views across the Rede Valley.
Staff will be constantly disinfecting handrails/doorhandles etc
Masks must be worn, and social distancing observed within the gallery please. Automatic hand sanitiser at the entrance.
We WILL be smiling under our masks!
